Recycled Turtle Army Helmet

Our first, our original. Inspired by Fred's grandfather, who witnessed the attack on Pearl Harbor firsthand in the second world war. Grandpa Willy always said, "War happens so suddenly. Peace moves slowly." When we first saw the sea of army helmets in a surplus yard, these words resonated with the though that the green helmets looked like turtle shells. Peace moves slowly...like a turtle moves. And thus the first turtle was born, still our most popular item. Made by Fred Conlon in the USA. To own metal yard art sculpture turtle would be an honor and a rememberance of the freedom we all have because of those who have gone before us.
